i need to kno if a 96-98 civic ex vtec auto engine harness will work on my manual tranny. i have a 96 ex....no engine harness....b16a swap..

 

anyone plz????

yes it will, he will just have extra plugs for the auto tranny sitting there unused.

i mean it should just don't use the plugs to the auto tranny. i'm not positive but don't see why not

 

you might have to mod the iacv plug but thats it.

if you have to mod it i would believe that it wouldnt work. just get the right harness at the junkyard or something instead of having to "mod" the damned thing.

 

its a 2prong plug, thats it, whats hard about that.

 

hmm expletive around in junkyard for few hours or simple wiring..what to choose? use what you have

 

Moding is alot cheaper then spending 100+ for a harness =P

 

an automatic harness will work you just have to rewire the 2 pin IACV and reverse sensor and you'll just have some extra plugs, you think people who convert there cars from auto to manual get/need new harnesses?? I did 2 of these conversions last summer
