Default valve cover question??? need help bad

well i have gone an done it now. well you know the little bolts that hold down your valve cover. i broke one of them. i have non vtec 94 dx motor. the valve cover has 4 bolts holding it to the head. i broke the bolt that is right next to oil cap. does anyone know if i can repair the bolt or do i have to get a new head all together(which seems kind of over doing it for just one tinny bolt). i twisted it a little to hard and snapped the bolt. what should i do?? i need help.

jesus christ man, how many responses do you expect in a few minutes? Yes, people know how to fix cars, but give them a couple minutes to read through your thread. And pics would help, too.

You could go to honda and buy the new bolt, you dont need to go and buy a new head

well, if you dont know how to fix it yourself i honestly dont think you should even attempt to drill and easy out it. i mean i guess you can try. i would assume it broke off flush in the head like they always do, and you cant get vise grips are stud remover on it. if so, get some good drill bits, 3/64" is what i have used, and a #2 (i think) easy out (bolt extractor or whatever you wanna call it) drill atleast 1/2" into the bolt, tap extractor into the hole, and carefully try to back it out. whatever you do DONT let metal shavings drop into the head while drilling, take a wrag, or old shirt or something and block off any passages around that part of the head, get a good magnet and before moving the rag or whatever use the magnet to pick up the small pieces of metal. also, coat the drill bit w/ oil to keep it from dulling quickly. and another thing DONT break the easy out in the head as well, if its not budging just quit.

well I was going to look into doing a new vavle cover for mine but holding it off for now but hopefully it won't happen to me...but I would say if it's not that bad just leave it unless it bothers you..otherwise you could take it to I guess shops/dealer but might cost you up the azz just for it..being a dx I leave it and if something happens I would swap if enough money for swap..otherwise don't know what to tell you...d16 are not much or could pick it up at junk for few $200-$500 bucks or order em for same price which I rather do if it's d16. My d16 for now is okay but looking to swap anyways the vavle cover holding off is just for show but yeah not much power in it, too much money for it to have it fast rather swap.

same thing happened to me it was easy to fix. I got some easy out bolts and i just drilled a small hole in the middle of the bolt. Then i tapped the easy out bolt into it and I twisted it out with my fingers.
