Hey

just dropped a JDM H22 into a 92 SR. used a tech manual and everything.

everything seemed okay...but...

when running, it will not rev above 3000 rpm. and when idling it wont drop
below 2000 rpm.

we've double checked timing, computer, TPS, everything we could think of...

(it doesnt help all the guys at my shop only really care about Ford and GM..)

if anyone out there has any suggestions I'd appreciate it huge.

make sure you have the correct fuel injectors, make sure your map is in good condition.

make sure your ignition coil and everything is good also.

 

Man Ive never heard of that, pretty fucked up. I hope you get it all worked out.

a friend of mine figured it out..
not only was one of the VTEC wires in the wrong spot, i have the wrong
computer (a P13 for an auto trans).

so give me a few more days to iron out these bugs and im home free.

again i appreciate everyones help.
