Default Bronze Rota Circuit 8's on red EG w/WILWOOD calipers, drilled and slotted

So about 5 months back i got my 5 lug jacked, they straight towed my **** away and then i found it 3 days later sittin on some bojangled *** 4 lug with red drums, **** was bent, lines were cut... anyway i spent like 1300 and it was all gone, so i set out to build somethin for 1k that was sicker then 5 lug on gunmetal wheels.... how do you think i did?

-c8's = 400 plus doughnuts
-knuckles,trailing arms, tokico blues, h&r springs, wilwood calipers, rear disk, drilled and slotted, extended studs... all for 550
1300 got me 5 lug
950 got me this....

what would you go for?

4x100 lug with rotas sicker than 5 lug on oem gm itr's? meh.

either way the new brake setup sounds tight though even tho we cant even see it.

I don't care what anyone says! OEM GM ITR wheels look better, but your setup far exceeds the stuff you had before.

Its not that Rotas look bad, its that 10 of my neighbours have them, 15 people I work with have them, 50 people I drive past in the morning have them, and about 95% of people in the Honda scene have them. There played out and I would take GM ITR wheels over ANY rotas. There so played out its not even funny.... I mean does anyone even buy new Rotas anymore?

Yeah cause GM ITR wheels aren't played out like Paris Hilton's sex tape. I like it, 5-lug IS nice dont get me wrong BUT this setup is better and cheaper. I wouldn't pay more for 4 lug nuts.

very good point. LOL.

5 lug is for those making excessive amounts of power and for RWD.

deals... catching people at the right times and puttin cash in their face

performance... i need a new master cylinder i'm still rockin the dx, i'm thinkin gsr or type r?they stop great but there is a lot of pedal until u get brakes... but compared to my 5 lug it stops a lot better and just feels a lot more adjile with no fight.

wow thats hilarious how u over exagerated all those numbers.. god your funny, and original.... about as much as ur idea that "rota's" are played out... thats soo broad of a statement, thats like sayin oem wheels are played out. dont get me wrong 5 lug with gunmetal is tight, but ur puttin the ***** on a pedastul man..and i loved it but for 350 less then what that cost me... and the fact that i've already had it... why dont you just sit the next couple plays out...

I agree. Paying $1300 for a 5th lug and some stock wheels is FOOLISH.

Especially when you can get a Wilwood setup for much cheaper...hell... I could convert my 4X100 setup to drilled NSX rotors and calipers for HALF the price of 5 lug

looks great IMO

i say screw the people who say rotas are overplayed (even though they are correct) but there is a reason for it, they are cheap wheel to buy new, easy to get a replacement, light, hold up well for the most part and still look great on a car. Can't go wrong in my book

the wilwoods look sick as well and i would take that upgrade over a 5 lug setup anyday due to the stock look (doesn't attract theives as much) of it and the fact that the brakeing is probably spectacular

good deal
