I plan on dropping a b-series (gsr) in my 2000 civic in a few weeks and I am just wondering what modifications, if any, need to be made to keep the air conditioning that I currently have in my car. Thanks guys

the only thing you will need is to replace the compressor bracket with one from a 2000 civic si (B16A), everything else would stay and work.

 

you need a P54 del sol vtec bracket. not sure if its the same as the 00si bracket but i doubt it.

Thanks man. I just checked ebay and they only had 96-00 oem a/c compressor brackets. Maybe I am searching for the wrong name? Any suggestions, I don't want to get raped with the dealer's price.

 

I think the b16 Tourqe mount will work on the gsr.

 

you need an OEM civic SI bracket. im sure they are some on ebay.

 

I found one, looks they are going for about $50 or so...not bad at all to be comfortable in the summer time
