pass. side mount has to be moved back (metal part on the frame rail), the shifter hole has to be cut out for the manual shifter to fit in the automatic car, and dont forget to change the axles out, auto tranny axles are a different length. everything else should be bolt and run. dont forget to splice the two big black wires under the shifter in the auto car together, or it will never start. and swap the ECU out too.
when searching search archived content rater than recent.
spend a hundred bucks on a conversion mount instead of changing frame bracket. and you dont have to cut a hole for the shifter. at least i didnt

agreed, it is probably safer just to spend the $100 for the mount versus replacing it w/ a manual one.

also you don't have to push back any bracket or cut out a hole for the shifter

I thought all 92-00 D-series axles were the same? Is there really a length difference?

They are. If you don't believe me, then why is my car running right now? I'm using my auto axles in my converted manual civic. With no adverse side effects might I add.

Kick ***. I had my auto axles rebuilt like 8 months ago and they're in great shape. I was hoping I wouldn't have to crap out and buy more when I finish getting my d15b built for the auto-manual swap. Thanks for clarifying that.

I've seen some people say the manual intermediate shaft is needed for this swap. Others have said the automatic axles worked fine without any problems. What is the consensus here? This is for an EG civic by the way, 94 DX.

the one I found for the eg auto/manual swap is missing all the pictures and like half the people here....I learn more from pictures than reading someone's attempt at a description...
