Does anyone have a link or info on how to pull the OEM head unit in a 5th gen?

Do I have to take apart the whole dash to pull the old unit and install an aftermarket? I can't seem to find a link to directions for this car.

All you have to do is pry the trim piece around the radio off with a flathead of just pull it off. Then take the four screws out to pull the head unit out.

Plastic ruler, or similar works great to pry it up (avoid using something rough like a screwdriver, as it can leave scratches)

Even easier, just put 8 fingers underneath the top piece (above the A/C control or climate control) There should be a gap between the piece and the dash and you should be able to have a good grip of the piece and then just pull it out.

No scratch no problem. Then there are another 4 screwdrivers to take the whole assembly and another 2 to 4 to take out the head unit itself.
