throttle body measurements
56mm. You can swap it for a GSR T.B., but you have to port match your intake manifold to really make it worthwhile, and even at that you probably won't notice significant gains. You really need more air (forced induction) to justify a much larger throttle body.

so if i was going to put a y8 IM and a bigger throttle body on my d16z6, what would i need to to do it? is porting expensive?

You would need to have the manifold ported to match the diameter of the throttle body, just like I said.
Y8 intake manifold and Z6 manifold have the same inlet plenum diameter I believe, 56mm. I'm not sure how much porting is, you would have to take it to a machine shop and ask them.
