Default Rear disc convertion on a hatchback>?

I was gona put rear discs on my hatch its a 96 and i was wondering if I need to put a new master cylinder and P.V on it> or if it would be fine with my stock civic one ?

You can use the ones on your car, but you would benefit from a bigger MC.

i have stock MC and GSR all around, works fine, i'm upgrading MC because the bigger the better!

Do you have a DX or CX? if you have the DX you'll need a new proportioning valve that splits the brake juice 40/40. The CX has that valve already in.

hatchbacks and the em1 si ALL have the same prop valve

and gsr brakes arent special

keep the stock MC but upgrade to a 40/40 prop valve

yes yes...but every bit of braking on the gsr is the same as the ls/gs

but still smokes 96 rear drum brakes..... ls gsr anything rear disc although puting on type r suspension
