Default jdm sir-g with circle headlights???

So anyways i came across a rhd 1996 integra. The owner claims its an sir-g but he had the circle lights. I know hondas made the circular lights in japan along with the flat lights for integras but did they ever make the circle lights for an sir-g? I thought sir-g only came with chrome housing flat headlights. Very confused. The car was an rhd but i am not sure if his engine was a b18c. Although it did have the b18c red vc. Someone clear this up for me please

Only pre 95 (japan got the facelift in late 95) came with circle lights, the rest of the ones after that is square lights

So sir-g in early 1995 had circular lights?

Correct. Here's a DB8 Si-VTEC badge.

I thought the 95+ GSR in japan was called the SIR-G ? With the chrome 1 piece headlights.

I think people just have the two confused. Password JDM calls the foglight kit for an SiR-G, but it's Si-Vtec. And I think that leads to a lot of the confusion, as people look at PW and assume that it's 100% correct.

THanks everyone for clearing things up. So that guy did have an SiR-G with circular lights then. Although he said that it was a 1996 an according to BLUEINTEGRABOY, SiR-G only had circular lights in early 1995. Does this mean that in late 1995 and onwards honda only made flat lights for the SiR-G? If so then the guy probably had his year mixed up or he had a 1996 SiR-G engine on an early 1995 SiR-G model.

I'm no expert on anything.

But from everything I've read; One peice headlights were 96+ and SiR-G. Circles were 93.5-95 and Si-VTec...

That is correct. They called it the Si-Vtec for the tegs pre 95 in Japan ( at least thats what I could gather from the following series of links )

here's the link for info on the SiR-G

(go to "line up" and you get the below link if you click on SiR-G )
