Default New Rider Checking In--Graduated MSF...

Graduated MSF--perfect score written and road test 2 weeks ago!

Anyway, I practiced on my brother's cbr600 this weekend (my 600 needs a couple of things before being road-worthy) and let me tell you...it was unreal...there's nothing like riding...

I'm glad I took the MSF course. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The instructors were excellent and they really instilled in me a respect for the bike and the sport of riding.

A lot of people were trying to discourage me from doing this, but there's no turning back: I'm addicted.

One being your mother, I'm sure. I'm 26, and my dad worries to death when he can't get in touch with me for a couple of days. He keeps thinking I've been in an accident. My mother doesn't know. lol. I can't put her through that.

She would know...she had a motorcycle accident when she was in college. Her brother was giving her a ride to class. I think it was a t-bone type accident. My mom went flying and broke both her legs in MANY places. So you can imagine how she feels about it

Congrats on the MSF! Get the F2 fixed (get some gear if you don't have it already) and hit the road!

The waiting list isnt long at all if you're willing to drive more than 30 minutes away.

I'm a believer in riding with proper gear. My brother already had and accident and his gear saved his skin.

Here's my gear:

The Alter Egos are soooo comfortable. the leather pants will follow....

lol thats weird cuz for me its the other way around. my mom knows and everything is in her name, but my dad doesn't know cuz he'd probably have a stroke or a heart attack, or he'd just kill me lol

If you don't go at 6 am on the first open registration day here in Cleveland you're screwed until like late august/september.

They should just charge like 50 bucks and have LOTS more classes. They could make a killing. As is I think they charge like 25 bucks, which is cool, but every one and their mother go and fill up all the available classes the first day of registration.

Bah! Self tought it is!

You're right bro, respect the bike.

More than likely eventually one day you'll try to show off to friends, girls, etc... Just remember that having a motorcycle is showing off enough already; don't push it.

Congrats on the MSF, now get the hell on the roads!
