Default engine swap costs..

wats up fellow ht members..
my brother is thinking about putting a b16a into his 92 eg hatch. he just wanted a estimate of how much it cost. Dont worry about shiping for the engine because hmotorsonline.com is local to me. Also he wont be turboing it so no need for like hasport axles or anything. I came out to about 3120 and thats adding an extra 200 for tools and renting a cherry picker. Also list how long it took you guys to do ur swap at ur home or at a shop. Thanks alot guys!!!

usually u can do the whole swap from running to running in a day, depends how dedicated the mecahncis are I guess...when me and my friend swap a honda engine, it only takes the day....it's nothing extensive

* it was easy because i already prepared everything before swapping.

DONT MAKE FUN OF ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol... im stupid... just give me like an estimate.. cause he drives alot back n forward to his base so he still wants good gas he drives.. 400 miles... and roughly gets 40 miles per gallon and has a 10 gallon tank so wen he comes back n forward he only has to fill up once.. so he just want to know how good the gas mileage is gonna be.. lol sorry for being stupid
