Anyone recommend any places to get either of these? I will be putting a 2001 US GSR motor in a 96 civic ex coupe. I am looking for the correct jumper right?

obd2B to obd2A?

Ok, checked out rywire.com. It says I will need a Non-Immobilizer equipped OBD2b ECU. What is that exactly?

Acura started to use an Immobilizer in 2000 Integra's...so find a 99 or older ECU. Also, since you have a 96 Civic, a 99 Integra ECU will plug directly into your stock wiring harness. '00-01 Teg ECU's plug directly into 99-00 Civic's, FYI.

So no, you don't need a jumper harness.

You can get the rear tranny mount from slhondaparts.com or some place like that....or look in the classifieds section.

Technically you will be going OBD2a to OBD2b......chassis to ecu.

But if you are trying to use the USDM OBD2b gsr ecu, it has an immobilizer and you are better off getting the OBD2a USDM gsr ecu. You will not need a harness or have to bother with the immobilizer.

FYI....for the harness, see http://www.rywire.com

So I can pick up any 96-99 GSR ecu and plug it in? Would I need a 96-99 distributor or would the 2001 distributor just work with it?

Yup. The only thing your ex engine harness does not have is wiring for the IAB's. The 2001 distributor will work, but you will need to change the distributor plugs. That is a quick wire swap. Here is a link to some wire colors:
