correct coil over setup
Im planning on buying tein basic coilovers for my 00 gsr. I know i need to do something about camber. Do i just need a camber kit? Do i need it for the front and rear? can u run camber kit front and lca in rear?
if you are just lowering 1.5-1.75 inches, you should not need a camber kit. any more than that, i would get on for the front. you can do "the washer trick" on the back, but you should be ok on the back, unless you are really slammed.
also, you may want to put some money aside in case you cannot get your rear lca bolts out. you may need to buy some new rear lca's.
don't forget to get an alignment a few days after you put the suspension on!

get a camber kit. you can't go wrong with having better tread wear and a full contact patch between the tires and the ground. make sure you do an alignment after everything.

if you're on a budget and you have the right tools you might want to try

all it would cost you is a set of lower shock mount bushings, less than $30, and a saw blade, less than $5. i went with this method when my install turned awry.
if you want new LCAs, i hear a lot of good about Omni Power.

I don't have first hand experience with them so I guess you can try searching the forum or wait until someone that has them sees your thread.

when you lower your car too much your tires get angled like this:
/-----\ (when you look directly at it from the front or back)
camber kits allow you to set it back to normal like so:
|-----|
so your tires don't ride on its side...
sort of like standing on your toes so to speak.

I know that. but what im asking is the camber you would want to adjust it to too far out? Why couldnt i adjust the camber the way it would be with just coilovers?
