Default b18b turbo or b18c1

heres the question, for a decent b18b turbo or a b18c1

which one of these set ups would be more expensive?
What would the E/T time difference be between the two?
Is turbo b18b reliable?

thanks

If you do it the way you should... both should be about the same price if you keep a stock bottom end. A stock C1 has higher compression pistons, which is not as friendly to boost as the B1's lower comp pistons. C1 will typically give more power due to VTEC (duh). There will be no diff in reliability, you can kill one as fast as the other.

There are finer points to examine, tho. B1's valve springs could be stiffer. PCV is a bitch to get to on C1s. and more...
