Default IACV sucking at operating temperature?

If you run your car at operating temperature (radiator fans turn on, thermostat opens), the idle should be like 700-800 right?

Now if I plug the IACV inlet at the throttle body, it's still sucking. If I unplug the IACV connector, it's also still sucking. My idle with the IACV connected is 1.5k, and with the connector out it's still 1k.

The only way I can get it to idle low is by plugging the inlet with my finger. Does this means my IACV needs replacement? (Already take it off and cleaned it, makes no difference)

I tried adjusting the screw but it will not change. And I am guessing it's because the IACV is till open even after I unplug the wires. Does yours still sucking even if you unplug the connector?

before you replace it, try cleaning it out with carb cleaner. Spray in the screen and inside it. Tap out all the black stuff out. It should help

Have you tried spraying it with carb cleaner through the inlet in the throttle body while the car is running?
