Hey guys i was wondering where to buy heat shrink tubing like by long foot pieces? let me know

i bought mine real cheap from harbor freight. try radio shack if you guys dont have a harbor freight there.

make sure you get the kind that has a dull finish and feels kinda rubbery. the shiney kind thats a little harder and feels more like plastic sucks IMO, doesnt shrink as much.

OMG!!!! Thank you! I was going to same the exact same thing!

I thought I was the only one that noticed that. The shiny stuff sucks ***** - it barely even shrinks, it burns easy, and it cracks. The dull finish stuff (I think it's vinyl) is awesome - it shrinks about 3x as much and it cools hard.

BTW, Radio Shack only sells 6" pieces.

Ebay. 2:1 ratio. Look for a guy name heatshrinktubing. He sells them super cheap.

yea that shiney stuff even looks like junk, and yea i def need pieces bigger then 6" i wanna buy it by the foot...ill ceck that guy out thermal

allelectronics.com has it cheap - it will beat ebay only if you need other crap like switches too.
