I wanted to know if the only differences between 94dx ecu and a 92 si ecu was the whole v-tech thing, and if I chipped the dx ecu would it woork in my si. I know a guy that does motherboard work and he said that it might take a little while but he would get to it when he got a chance, but wanted me to leave the ecu w/ him. I cant be w/out my car and have the dx ecu in my garage. I believe the dx ecu is a p06 if it means anything to you all. Just answere the ? please, if your gonna be an *** no reply needed. just get the DX (p06) ecu chipped. you will still need a rom burnt for whatever application.

 

its a stock si motor. I just wanted to have a little fun till finish building my single cam turbo. All the chips I've found said that it changed th fuel curve and made v-tech pull harder. What do you mean by, I'll have to get a rom burnt for what ever application?

 

dont waste the money on generic chips, if you really are going to boost just wait to get it tuned. the stock ecu will run the stock motor the best, believe that or not.
