changing timing belt and water pump
looking to do a complete 105,000 mile service on my friends 01 prelude. im definitely changing the timing belt, water pump, and balance shaft belt (it has one right?!). i tried to get a diagram from majestic but they are showing the wrong picture. are there any seals or gaskets i should replace while i have everything apart? how about the tensioner and automatic adjuster? im not too familiar with the auto adjuster since ive been working with d- and b-series engines, is it normally changed with the timing belt?
if someone has some of the pages from a helms for the timing belt replacement that would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance

i jus saw a bunch of threads on changing the auto tensioner to an H23 manual tensioner. does this apply to the 01 prelude as well?
That auto-tensioner comes on all 5th gens and is pretty crappy. You should definately switch to a manual tensioner if you want to do a good job for your friend.
Also try to get a Helms manual because there's lots of pages on changing the timing belt....torque specs, steps to do stuff in, how to reset the timing, etc. It's a hard job even with a manual.

which adjuster needs to be replaced, #23 or #18, or both? is #23 for the balance shaft belt, and #18 for the timing belt? also, does the pulley, #10, or #13 need to be replaced?
also, the cam seals, #38, are these hard to replace? how do you hold the cam to loosen/tighten the bolts?
