freeway+rock+dc header=dent
well i recently had my car dynoed and i was able to hit 213whp and 151tq in my b20vtec. i already knew my header was holding me back however wasnt planning on purchasing a new header til late summer. friday i ended up bashing my header on the freeway totally smashing the fourth runner.
Now the real question is who out there makes a header with better clearance than the DC. i DO NOT want to modify my oil pan or anyting else. ive seen tons of threads with headers that make power and thats great but i want CLEARANCE.
setup
Sleeved B20
84.5mm 11.3:1 Wiseco Pistons
Eagle Rods
Stock GSR head
Stock TB
Skunk2 valvetrain
Skunk2 IM
Skunk2 cam gears
Pro1 cams
310cc injectors
Velocity stack
DC 2.5 header
header back Espelir Exhaust
96 civic hb

if you're going to put a good header on your car, raise the car up.... and you can get great clearances with smsp, an-r, bisimoto, rmf, and dtr/sixsigma side sweeper
The SMSP actually sits further from the ground than the oil pan
Add this manifold and you're past 220whp.
*Edit* Not quite, but close

Above is my ITR header made to fit around the stock ITR tranny/block support.
Below in my other B18vtec header where the mount must be removed.

we installed 2 pro-fabs and both of them needed alot of work to go in.
basically for you to make these fit with ease, you'll have to take out your rad and install 2 slim fans. Some people say you can get away with one slim fan which is true. but I would do 2 slims fans cause its less of a headache if you do.
also, you'll have to remove some bolts from the flywheel cover plate and and smash in a part of the oil pan so the header doesn't rub.

They will look the same as on the B18 block

blah, header or not, its still either to dent up a header or a oil pan. your pick. this was me about a year ago and still ran it with tad bit of oil for 50 miles back on the highway.

The SMSP and the Toda header all seems to hug the oil pan real nice.
