Default LSVTEC temp gauge problem??

i dont realli drive the car much its just to race so its not daily driven... aite so i just got a brand new lsvtec build in my crx... i got it from the shop but the temp gauge doesnt work.... motor was driving fine until today it was kinda hot today and i get home and the resourvir tank was bubbling wen i reved the motor..... my car eats up coolant like crazy since i got the car last week car is dyno tuned and everything.... so is this the thermostat thats not working and causing the coolant to shoot towards the resouvir tank wat u guys think is the problem?? i wanna get this fixed tomorrow cuz i dont wanna overheat my car

Sounds Like you have a blown head gasket. Be careful, you could be steadily destroying your motor. Is it sleeved?

Check to see if the sleeves fell. Also, maybe the head is warped, or maybe the block surface is warped.

I've had sleeves fall once, but only once. I’ve also had to resurface a block 10 thou just to get it flat, and I've had similar problems with heads that have been overheated.

problem was fixed radiator was clogged thanks for the replies
