Why, do you only have 1 arm or something?

Why would you spend thousands on a swap only to still be slower than a SOHC VTEC with a manual transmission?

honestly.. theres no difference in a auto and manual transmission..
except that with a manual you have to shift...

Because you're 16 and your screename is PoP yO cOlLaR 08 and I don't think you have the mental capacity to fabricate a transmission mount bracket and do the necessary wiring to get the car running.

Wrong. Automatic transmissions are usually 4 speed, meaning they have longer gear ratios...and slower acceleration. In addition, automatic transmissions tend to only put 75% of the engines power to the wheels as opposed to 85% with a manual transmission.

And I 2nd motion Bauleys comment, i doubt ur gonna do it dude... Sound kinda like the guy who goes to the dealership an gives the whole lifestory breakdown, picks out the dream car, begins an ends serious conversation, than leaves with same car he brought to dealership and is never seen again... "DreaMer" ;-)

You can think that if you want.

You don't have a big block Chevy or a turbo Supra, you have a Civic. And Civics with automatic transmissions are painfully slow.

Yes, an automatic B18C is slower than a manual D16Z6.

"Honestly."

Doing a $1000 manual transmission conversion on your car with an EX trans will make your car faster than a $3000+ automatic B18C swap will. And your car will be more fun to drive, more durable, and get better gas mileage to boot. Imagine that.

so if you are serious about doing anything performance minded to your car do the auto to manual conversion. or is that too advanced??? i mean if you want to run 16s in a $3000+ swap just send me the money and i will ship you a VX swap you will get better MPG and run the same times. LOL, at you buddy, bauley owns you now.

Hmmm....so you think you'll be fine because your pops and bro work at a auto body shop. Correct me if I'm wrong, but auto body has nothin to do wif engine performance bro. Why is it that you wanna stick wif the auto tranny anyways?

It's obvious that he's trying to rationalize the fact that he doesn't know how to drive a stick.

Damn beat me to it.

But last I checked, Auto body and auto mechanics are 2 different classes in high school and college. But hey if you think being able to pop a dent will save you when you can't seem to get your b18c to start then go for it. I look forward to being proven wrong or your "help my car won't start!" threads.
