help finding tach wire
i have 98 dx coupe and i installed a 00 cluster but the tach doesnt work, i think its because i chopped all the odb2 ecu plugs out and i converted it to odb1
does anyone know what socket number on the ecu odb1 that is for tach? i had an aftermarket tach in there but took it out because i didnt need it it was wired to the dizzy, now im boosted w/ b18b and i need a tach any help with getting my stock tach to work would be realllyy helpful
i tried wiring it to the blue wire that is on the firewall by itself but it didnt work

ah yes! a wire that went to the distributor....sounds like a plan to me. I'll hook all my lights to a wire that goes to the battery and it should work like a charm too.
dude, come on, either give better info or go buy the haynes manual and look through the diagrams yourself.

which is?????
I'm assuming you mean the blue wire but then you might have tried other wires that we dont know of...
did the aftermarket tach work properly when you had it spliced in after the obd conversion??
