honda badges, ricer?
Its your opinion of rice, I personally think making a car out to something its not is rice, like Type-R emblems on a non-type-r, the Honda however, I have no problem with

I never understood the complete rebadging of cars, especially the make of it.
If you were driving a Pontiac Firebird would you put Chevy Camaro stickers on it? What about making a Lexus into a Toyota.
It is what it is...I could think of money better spent elsewhere, but that's just IMO.

Pontiac Firebird is not a Camero though, where as a RSX IS a Integra. And a Lexus IS a Toyota. So in those cases I would say why not. Hell the glass on the Acura cars all say Honda right on them as well as the parts in the engine.. in fact only parts that say Acura are the Steering Wheel, Stereo, and Valve cover.
But I do know what you mean. I just did it on mine to stand out a little more, plus I think it looks better. Not that I don't think the Acura symbol is a witty piece of art and all. I just like when people ask, "Why do you have Honda Integra on your car?" I get to respond, "If you have to ask, you wouldn't get it."

I agree.

I agree.
It's all a matter of opinion. If you like it, by all means go ahead; don't let other opinions sway you from what you want.

They are a matter of taste, mine are there because the hood was warped a bit from shipping so one side wasn't flush, and I didn't want to risk it flying up on the cross country drive I was making the next morning.

You can get it at the honda dealers I believe
I also believe that jus puttin HONDA INTEG on ur car is not really rice. I mean technically it really is a HOnda. I dont think there's anything wrong with putting Toyota on a LExus or Nissian on an Infiniti. as far as the type r replacing the type s.. I wouldnt really do this. maybe cuz i dont have a type s. but if i did, i prob wouldnt do it unless I had a type r motor or something. I duno thats jus me.
As far the the camero and firebird comment above I kinda get what ure saying. But it would not really make sense to badge it that way. At least for honda and nissian there is a reason behind it

Short story: Years ago VW had a racing series for VW Rabbits. It was called the Bilstein Cup. You bought a Bilstein suspension package and some sticky rubber, and raced them at various tracks around the country. I enjoyed modest success.
During the same period -- the early '80s -- Audi introduced their permanant 4-wheel drive system which they dubbed "Quattro" (Spanish for "four"). Audi, of course, is a division of Volkswagen, AG. For laughs, I stuck a Quattro badge on the back of my Rabbit racer, which I also drove on the street for several years. I was utterly amazed at how many people actually asked me if my Rabbit was a four-wheel drive car. Even more incredible, it wasn't uncommon for my wife and I to return to a parking lot and find someone crawling around on their hands and knees looking under our car to see VW's "Quattro" system. If I really wanted to have fun, I'd tell them it was a VW prototype in the US for testing.
Obviously, you're not going to have someone crawling around under your Honda looking for Type R parts. But never underestimate how gullible the general public is when it comes to cars and badges.

im my opinion its just about the look. If someone calls me a ricer for it will just blwo it off. Cause i dont give a damn like that. If you want to say i dont have any visible JDM parts besides that...well touche....but guess what....once i open up my tranny youll be like......wtf!! lol. That or my head in about a month
honda badges are okay....type-r badges are iffy

You can **** on a silver platter but that doesn't make it a crab cake. If pretending that your low-end Acura is a low-end Honda from another country makes your self esteem go up, by all means do so. I'll try not to let my pity show too much.
Just another thing for some selfish assclown to jack, more often than not messing up your paint while they are at it. Don't get me wrong, I think they look good, but the above is why I wouldn't do it.
