20x8x14 inch M&H slicks fit on honda oem 14" steel rims?
they'd come off the bead very easily...that is IF they could seat the bead...basically you'd be going 100 mph at the top of the track to have your tire come off the rim.
Acceptable practice for rim width is tread width plus or minus 1 inch. All dimensions @ 10 psi cold on measuring rim
tread width via MT's side = 8"
Honda 14" rim 5.5 at best...but even if we gave you 6" you're still 2" shy and 1" shy of acceptable.
Its your safety and your car to chance...I've seen people do dumber things and get away with it...doesn't mean that you should do it.

HAHAHA! If you've ever gone 120+ in a striaght line you know your car floats on the slicks...and there is a LATERAL load on the slicks whether you want to admit it or not.
I did get the bead to seat properly... my mph trap is usaully 97-99 mph...on street tires and drag radials...didnt think about the width of rim/tires until I read this recently...hmmm
yeah but im really just not worried about it
plus im probably one of 3 million others that have mounted wider tires on thinner rims and ive yet to hear of a problem. what your saying about it comming off the bead is just a theory really because 99% of the time it wont happen

i personally didnt choose. I got a good deal on these slicks, which were already mounted on the steelies. So I just run them.
