Default No ABS on the Prelude S series?

I bought (2) front knuckles from a fellow member, but my Si has ABS sensors, and the knuckles did not have any place to attach the sensors....

Does that mean that I have to ditch my ABS, or is there a way to still somehow attach them to be used?

I took the old knuckle off and put the new one on and had to double check....was not able to find the 2 extra holes to install the ABS sensor....either side.

Not the end of the world, just need to know what to do about the sensors and the effect on brake performance

Yeah, not sure about the sensors, but the Prelude S does not have ABS.

Morning bump.....do the sensors monitor the vibration of the brakes? If I can zip tie them out of the way I will, but if they are still wired, but just not bolted down, that shouldnt affect any codes should it?

no, those sensors read notches off the axle as it turns, for abs to function, they need to be in the oe location....

so either I drill and tap holes on the knuckle for the sensors, or zip tie the wires to the side and unplug the sensors at the harness?

well if youre gonna take the sensors out you might as well ditch the whole system....

drilling and tapping holes for these and getting everything to line up right is gonna be pretty difficult

I definitely do not want to get into that chaos....! there are (4) sensors right...one for each wheel. just take out the (2) front ones, will the back still work?

where is the best place to disconnect as to not throw any ABS codes or anything?

You could take the ABS out completely....or just take the ABS light bulb out.

Sounds like it's not going to function anyway...

of the two, which is less of a PITA? can I just unplug the wire from the ECU (for the ABS)?
