Default cleaned the IACV now problems

So i decided to clean my IACV with carb cleaner. put it back on and now the car car idels fine but if you give it a little gas the cars rpms go down really bad almost to the point of stalling out. I have a bad O2 sensor. The front one.

My question is, is it stalling out becasue the O2 is shot or because I didnt wait long enough for the IACV to die out and not the car is almost stalling out.

Thanks for looking and any advice will help.

So your saying its the ECU?? I have been getting CELs but that was for O2 sensor. The reason I cleaned the IACV was that the car had an iradic idel. At start up it was fine but then after it was warm the IDEL would dip and sometimes really low but not as low as it is now.

Anyone else had this problem??

Oh thanks 98exdream !! .

you shouldn't use carb cleaner on an IACV as it can harm the seal on it.

I had found a DIY clean IACV thread and someone said use carb cleaner. Others also have said to use carb cleaner also.

He's right, you SHOULDN'T use carb cleaner, it ruins the rubber seals, that goes for all rubber seals and boots too. You probably ruined it.

dont listen to them it wont hurt ****. you should have used brakeclean though. if your iavc was leaking or malfundtioning it would make your car idle higher. vacuum leaks usaully make idle higher. clogs make it lower. check egr for clogs , pcv valve and hose. so on.

NO clogs I am waiting for an O2 sesnsor to come in to see if that fixes the idle. I was getting CELs about the O2. After some reading I found that a bad O2 can cause your idel to almost die and fluctuate.
