Don't worry about stock ones that are non turbo, three saturdays ago they had 4 mr2's out at the races. All from that gen range, three were turbo, one turbo got beat by a gsr w/headers/cai/catback exhaust/shortshifter/suspension, and the non turbo got taken by a focus zx3 w/full catback exhaust. I don't think you'll have much trouble. The new ones barely push 124hp (I think, thats n/a, duh.) You may beat him without spraying even. Good luck.

Horsepower (N/A)130 @5400rpm (Turbo)200 @6000rpm
Torque (lbs/ft) (N/A)140 @4400rpm (Turbo)200 @3200rpm
The non turbo weighs 2,620 lbs, more than your's weighs, remove your sub box and rear seat to be sure you've got him. The turbo coupe weighs 3,335 lbs. These are curb weights.

he really thinks he can beat me! and im sure he dosnt have any mods but intake thats it! he talks about his damn car non stop and thinks its the best thing on earth! let me give you a idea of how dumb he is.........he wants to put a 32vavle devile engine in it? and he dosnt belive me it cant be done!
and I can always flip that switch if it comes doen to it!

Who says it can't be done? Where there is a will, there is a way. I doubt he has the knowledge, money, tools, and time to do it, but anything is possible. If you lose, don't blame me MAKE SURE it isn't the turbo, listen for blow-off valves, check for a intercooler in the front, just be sure. Are you spraying against him or are you going to try to go all motor? I suggest spraying since $100 is involved. It'll pay for you to refill your bottle a few times

I will spray on him i know for a fact its n/a i have ridden in it! and looked at the engine its slow but he thinks its the world oh well

dude, the turbo ones are down in the 14s stock. They arent fast at all. High 15s not. I ran a 15.8 wiht my ZC and SI tranny, catback exhaut, short shifter and teg ecu. Thats al I had. I dont know what gen you are talking about but...
