Default jacobs nitrous mastermind

anyone ever used one? also what is the difference between the 8 cylander and 4 cylander version? anything?

They are a very good unit for the money....difference is that one is for 8 cylinders, one if for 4. Id highly recommend using one.

thats the only difference, one accomidates 8 banks one 4, your asking a question with a prettty simple answer...i dont know how much easier to state it. Its set to read and function 8 or 4 cylinders.

just to let ya know, i keep hearing that it needs to be used with an aftermarket ignition. just a further expense you might wanna look in to.

the masterming has full ignition control (hence the aftermarket ignition) and several methods of control and staging.

yes you do need an aftermarket ignition, but a simple msd 6a would work nicely.

so if i ran a 75shot dp of nitrous, and had it tuned, and ran a msd blaster coil some wires and plugs itle be fine,? woulda hevb to retard the ignition?

i would think a 75shot maybe 1 degree. just to be on the safe side.

nitrous is onhly as safe as the user.


i run 65 single fogger now, 2 step colder plugs, and an extra degree of ignition retard. never had a detonation and it runs great.


keep that in mind.
