Ok a couple of questions...first off, I have a 65 shot in my car right now, I have I/H/E and a cam, timing set at 14(Retarded 2 degrees).

My first question is, If I were to retard my timing say to like 10 or 9, could I run a 125 shot in my car once or twice without blowing my motor?

Second, I'm looking into getting an MSD Ignition for my car so that I dont have to drive around retarded, I can just retard it when I spray. Which MSD Ignition should I get for my car. I heard MSD Digital 6 was good, but my friend says it's something else. I wanna be able to retard the timing from inside the car, rev limiter is good also. What would you guys recommend?

 

do a search on msd's website for the one that allows you to retard it with a switch, it will retard the timing when you squeeze...

secondly if you want to toast your motor over easy go ahead with that 125 shot.... take a tape recorder with you, because i have not heard what it sounds like when they explode and send rods through blocks...

stick with the 65shot until your tired of it.. then go turbo/supercharger...

msd does have a box that retards the timing with a switch.
