d16z6 head on a d15b1 block will it work with out hooking up the v-tec????????

Default d16z6 head on a d15b1 block will it work with out hooking up the v-tec????????

my stock head (d15b1) has a chipped valve and i need to make a quick fix i have a d16z6 and i wan wonderin if i can just take the head off of that and put my dpfi and not hook up the v-tec and will it work ???????

It will work you may need a new timing belt. (A vx one)

i bought a new one for the other head though because i diidnt know about the valve at that time can i still use that one or nah
