need help guys. a friend is selling me a used JDM d15b head (20 cam lobes)
but the head was shaved too much. im planning to use it on my turbo y8. is it possible to transfer the rocker arm assy and cam on the y8 head core? i have yet to take apart both heads to compare and i would just like to know first before i waste my time on something that aint possible. tnx

 

don't rely on my response but i've seen both and i think they're different and wont' work. i'm not 100% because it's been a few months (about 1.5 actually) and i'm not absolutely confident.

I dont know anything about single cam stuff but my buddy just took a I-vtec head which means its an 8 valve out of vtec and 16 when in vtec, then he took his 95 civic si vtec rocker setup which uses all 16 valves in and out of vtec and swapped it into the ivtec head.. As of last night the car was running fine.. I'll find out what heads they were..

 

I'll work with a z6. I know cause I did it.
