I've looked and looked I tried installing one in my car and now the **** won't start so if anyone has a picture of one at the the ecu so I can see wtf is up with mine or a link that I don't know and I've been up and down apexi site for help but it's the same as the book I have.

I've looking since last night on the computer and I can't figure this one out at this moment so here I be.thanks

follow the directions...double check that you did exactly what they said and that you performed the intalization process

 

ok well the car starts I had everything hooked up right says the book, but would having a p13 ecu make a difference the controller flashes red at the beginning so something still is not right

 

i would take you a pic of mine but i don't have a digital camera.....i would just say recheck the wiring.....i wired the tps wire wrong on mine to start with and it would just read zero regardless, luckly i figured it out before i ran the car

 

Did you go through the initial set up procedures? If you didn't that's why it's not running right.

 

well my will start and run, but i know something is still wrong due to the fact it flashes at me. The only thing other than that is is setting the rev limit and v-tec, by the time the v-tec kicks on it's soon to hit gov. use to be 7800 and now it's 6000

mine flashes red at me too when i start the car. its normal for that to happen. i though iread somewhere on the manual that it was supposed to flash red at you during startup. and do you mean your vtec kciks in at 7800 rpms? or does your motor have a rev limit at 6000 rpms? i got a little confused by your last post.

 

i just did a safc and it doesn't flash at all

 

mine flashes as the "apexi" logo shows up on the screen when you start up the car. it flashes in tune with the seat belt reminder beep.
