i've been a member here for sometime but rearly post. i have a question maybe someone can help me.
a co-worker has a 92 4dr accord and he bought a 92 JDM acura vigor front clip. he has the radaitor clip, bumper, grill, head lights and i can't remember what else. now the questions is here is it possible for the conversion. i think the bolt straight on is out of the question. but could he remove his accord radiator clip. and weld the vigor radiator clip? now we would have to fab the fenders to work?

Hey wassup, yea you shoild be able to weld up the radiator support from the vigor on the accord so the fenders will fit and the hood. You might have to use the rear end of the accord fenders to mount up to the curvature of the accord doors though. Also check the windshield wiper cowl to see of the shape matches the rear curve of the vigor hood. If you have body work skills you should be able to pull it off clean. By the way, yes I know what I am talking about I have been doing conversions for 12 years at my shop, good luck, jdmpartshunter

well here's the finish product. well as you can see there's a huge gap in the front. this why if you're going to do a project make sure you spend the funds, not take it to jose down the block to save some money. unless you've seen jose work and you know jose is good at wht he does. the only reason i used the name jose cause that was the guy's name who did it. lol.

that gap seems slightly rediculus, maybe your friend should take it back to jose, and say look, i need some more body work, im sure with some welded sheetmetal some bondo, and hell of alot of sanding, you could make that "wheel gap" more reasonable.

Yep. I'd agree. Its hideous.

I wouldn't bash on jose too much, there wasn't a lot he could do with that. the wheel arch has to follow the curve of the bumper. unless he is going to totally fabricate an extension on the urethane bumper, there isn't too much he could have done with that.
jose should have let the customer know that it was going to be completely fucked looking, but absent of that, it really isn't the body guys fault.

LOL!damn man im sorry.... but that car looks horrible. i would either get 22s like mentioned above. or just get rid of that..that THING.
acutally i would just get rid of IT. screw the 22s.
if there is anyone else out there that wants to or ever thought about doing this to their accord. i hope they see this thread. they can learn a very good lesson from this.
OH i would LOVE to see a picture of the ENGINE bay. cause you MUST have so much more ROOM in there....

i couldn't stop laughing either cause he had the whole front clip. i kept asking him why would you want to do that to an accord. but then again you have to let the ricers be ricers, lol.
