Yeah, I know that but Saul is hitting a 9.73 in qualifying so there might be new record coming tomorrow if there already isnt one.

I believe the run you are talking about is the fastest all motor pass....which skunk2 did with its 9.6 pass last year at pomona......i heard something to the terms that it was "too fast" and therefore the 9.74 pass stayed as the national record.

AND on the NHRA SP website it says that Norris hit a 9.732 in Qualifying and is now the number one qualifier for tomorrow Saul ran the SAME EXACT E.T. as Norris in the 2nd round of qualifying but Norris' MPH was higher!
Also Mat Keller is the #1 qualifier for sport FWD with a 9.73 pass
