i already lowered my dc5 but my happy
i lowered my dc5 with skunk2 and it look alright but the ride suck di*k, it is so damn bouncey and i didnt spend 20k for a shity ride that not even my girl gets in my car, so my question is what spring set should i get that look nice but still has the smootheness of a stock ride????
in general, the more you lower your car, the more you have to increase the spring rates in order to prevent bottoming out. coilovers typically have a fairly wide range of height adjustability, and have a stiff enough spring rate to prevent bottoming even on the lowest height settings.
ride quality is a relative thing, what one person considers too firm another considers acceptable, and it seems your current setup is too stiff fo you.
are you referring to skunk2 springs or coilover sleeves? both are pretty stiff, and more than the stock shocks which im assuming youre running can properly dampen, hence the bounciness.
either way, if those are too stiff for you, you are going to need new springs. i dont know dc5 specific rates, but on eg.ek chassis, tein stech and htech are about the softest rate springs available, i would expect something similar for the dc5. but then again they dont lower as much.
in the end its going to be up to you... you have to pick either stock-like ride quality that comes with stock springs and thus stock height, or you can run stiffer aftermarket that comes with a stiff ride. take your pick

I think that your springs are fine. Sounds like your rebound needs improvement. You should consider upgrading your shocks that should take away a lot of the bounce. When you upgrade to a stiffer spring you also have to upgrade your shocks to compensate for the extra stiffness otherwise you get a bouncy spring with no shock to slow it down. But the best way to go in my opinion is with some full coilovers. Try some Tein ss, their perfect for what your looking for it sounds.

Exactly! You have to tune your suspension just like you tune you engine. Some spring and shock packages just dont go together.
