Default Factory Part Number

I am trying to find the factory part number for a 6th gen. LX or EX rear upper strut bar (the one just in front of the rear speakers). I have looked all over magauto.com and hondaautomotiveparts.com and have been unsuccessful, so any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm just looking for easy and fairly inexpensive ways to upgrade my DX's suspension Next on my list... CL-s front upper strut bar!

I have to say I have an LX 01 and have never seen a rear upper strut bar. I don't know if you were misguided or if I am just not seeing it but I don't think there is one.

I don't know about a rear upper stabilizer bar, but the 16mm rear lower stabilizer bar is p/n 52300-S84-A02 and honda lists it at 135.20.

Its the only part the dx doesn't have that the lx and ex models do.

hope this helps.

My friend has an '02 SE, and I remember hitting my head on it a few times when I was being retarded and jumped a little too far into the back seat. It was also mentioned in the guide to basic accords, so hopefully I am not misguided through personal experiance and information on here.

There are no rear upper strut bars for 6th gen Accords. If your friend has anything back there, than it is either custom, or not an upper rear strut bar. Your struts mount to the rear deck -- the same piece of metal that your speakers are mounted to. You would have to remove all the interior pieces of the rear deck down to the metal in order to install an upper rear strut bar.

So, in other words, no one makes one. eBay has a bar that mounts between the pillars over the back headrests. This is what I think you're actually talking about. If it was me, I wouldn't want to hack up my interior pieces to add a cheap eBay bar that probably isn't doing much, if anything at all.

There is no bar back there for you to hit. It doesn't exist.

Look, I know I hit my head, and yes it was on a metal bar in front of the rear speakers. I trust what Philadd said, so I think that my question has been answered!
