question about d-series block with b-series rods?

question about d-series block with b-series rods?
i'm building a z6 to boost and i want to beef up the bottem end. my friend told me that LS rods can be used but i wanted to know if the bolt right in or is their any kind of modifactions that have to be done? any info would be great thanks.
