Im doing an ls swap into my civic. My harness is wired for vtec. Can i still use that harness and will the civic harness work with the ls ECU?

I did a ls swap in my eg and i used the ls harness. The ecu will work but it has to be obd1. I don't think you can use the stock engine harness. My friend tryed using it and didn't plug in.

 

you can still use your harness. it wont throw a code because you will be using a non vtec ecu

 

LS VTEC swap...problem fixed.

 

My friend was doing a swap an his 93 hatch. He was trying to use his stock cx harness an a 97 ls engine and it would not plug in.

 

What year is the ls engine?

I dont know what i need for that....if i did i would probably do that. What should i get for a head. I would probably get a b16 head but i dont know what i need besides that. If you could give me a list that would be awesome!
