Default fisrt project ever

I just pic up a 1990 civic srd. I need to swap motors with my gf's dx then i'm going to restore it with a little riceing. I'm gong to rebuild the d15 out of the dx(i'm poor) for a cheap exhaust what should i get. and i need other ideas of suspension(need one for both cars). and how hard is it to swap the drum braks for disc? I'll have pic up as soon as i get a camera and takes pics

yes i know its not my car, but i really dont see the point of doin ga drum to disc brake conversion. the rear brakes only do like 30% of the work in the brake system. not to meantion discs weigh more and would cost a bit of $$ and time to do it. only thing im not a fan of with drums, is they are ******* gay to work on, too many freakin springs and **** everywhere, discs are MUCH easier to work on.

but yes, from what was said above, all this stuff u meantioned have been covered 230430284329489 times in the 5 years this site has been up and running.

but good luck on whatever it is you decide to do, its your car so express yourself.

i would get tein suspension, and I wouldnt bother doing the rear disc either. $$ and weight will work against you if you are going for performance / autocross. A lot of people will argue that drum do just as well of a job if not better of a job then disc in the back. I would also start by buying some rings, pistons, valves, and springs for your d-build, might as well get a unorthodox pulley too, and an adjustable cam gear
