Is there any way to remove the rear wiper from the rear window, and make it look cleaner and still beable to latch.

What does the wiper have to do with it latching?

 

I think that you can take apart the casing that holds the wiper motor and remove the motor and drive shaft, then just find yourself a plug that will cover the hole.

You can get the plug from your dealer mainly since some didn't come with it.
Send me the motor. i need a replacement

 

yea,,, just unbolt it and put a plug in its plac.e.

 

You'll need the rear assembly from a CX. From the outside it just looks like a plug, but on the inside it has a latch that functions like the one integrated into the wiper motor.

I believe there is also a little handle that gives you something to lift with.
