Default K24 Project Car w/ Dyno

A member's car. Stock K24 in an EK.

Stock K24 long block.

RBC (2006 Si) IM which I ported to match a Spoon TB

IM/TB taps needed to be removed and plugged so the hood would close.

Needed new port for brake booster.

Made up a quick intake tube with the prototype racing stack/K&N Filter and relocated the rad overflow tank.

Moving the rad overflow tank, frees up some room for the next mod

On to the dyno graphs.

Run 3: RBC IM, Accord 60mm TB, DC TSX header, no cat, no exhaust
Run 4: RBC IM, Spoon TB, Prototype K Header, no cat, no exhaust

Note: Run 3 was tune for A/F only, Run 4 was just a change of parts no further tuning - different day

Run 14 RBC IM, Spoon TB, Prototype K Header, 200 cell metal race cat, full 3" exhaust and tuning by SGT

Run 18 (final tune due to the better mid range) vs the peak number Run 14.

Peak number Run 14 vs Run 3 with open DC header, just for fun, I know it's not fair since the DC wasn't fully tuned.

Nice. A better intake would improve those numbers
By that I mean more length and colder air.

Why do parts of the dyno look bumpy? Just curious.

Looks like a sweet build so far.

Wow, the DC header is really worthless.

I think God is speaking to me this week.

Over the past 4 days, I have seen nothing but K-series threads. And they all are running faster and making more power.

I think my next swap is in the land of the K.

The header was set up for some additional work. The customer has cams to install plus we are building him a new IM.
