whats involved in an lsvtec build?

Default whats involved in an lsvtec build?

ok so i have b16 in my hatch...and my g/f has a 94 teg ls...and i just recently got ahold of a gsr motor...so i was gonna throw my head and pistons on the gsr block..that still leaves the gsr head...my g/f has been wantin to do a gsr swap tp her car but i convinced her to do an lsvtec instead..now n the ls i know its now as easy as throwin the vtec head on there and presto...i just wanted to know what all is involved in doin this kinda build. thnx.

You'll definitely want ARP connecting rod bolts, VTEC oil pump, VTEC water pump.

you need to add an oil line as well.

theres how tos with pictures on the net, or you can buy kits that come with instructions if thats more your thing.....

one way or the other modification does need to be made to the block to satisfy the head.
