i just got my alternator from autozone about maybe 3 months ago and i got a battery light on my dash maybe for a month now...everytime i get a battery charged up and put in it drains it out in 2 days
i wanted to check out the alt..and found out that the white wire "O" ring is completely gone and the stud on the alt when i tried to take off the nut is now half broken im gonna try today to get a new alt hopefully with their warrenty but when i get a new one is their anything i can do to make the O-ring of the wire not break again?
