After looking at the EX and the Si. I have come to the conclusion that they are the same. They both have the same components

1st PIC is the EX

2nd PIC is the Si

haha those pics are absolutely horrible, but if they look the same, then with the minimal equipment pictured on comptech's website, it probably fits both.

Its not the length of the throws that I dislike, but the "feel" of the shifts. They feel very vague and kind of sloppy. Hopefully the S/S takes away some of the play in the shifter.

Every car I've driven in my entire life (with a manual tranmission) has play in the shifter.

And you know what, it gets worse with time

Hey, so lets say this fits in the EX, which is what I have... how hard is it to put in? I'm not really a car person, I used to change the oil on my old car myself. Thats about as good as it gets for me. The parts look pretty simple. Would this installation be simple for an idiot such as myself?

Anyone with an FG1 should just get a Skunk2 [or similar] shift **** first. It makes a WORLD of difference. Then if you need a short shifter, get one.

Oh, lol. Ok thanks. I will google it.

This is just a **** right, w/o the short shifter? The **** alone will make a big difference? I found one for 39 bux.
