Default I found a Dealer in SoCal that doesn't do markups!!

I finally found one! No lie, I'm helping those that don't have a si yet or any other civic, go check out Long Beach Honda, I picked up the last one (silver) out the door for 24,300. I could've gotten it for cheaper but the stupid dealer put in some add ons that i don't even want such as mud flaps, wheel locks, trunk tray, and a clear coat for exterior and interior. But yeah guys just trying to save ya'll the 2000-5000 ridiculous dealers markup. They are going to have a fiji blue coming in like 2 weeks from now!

24.3? Is that with Nav and OEM kit or fogs? 24 is way higher than the MSRP.

sorry to burst your bubble, but they sell them with navi and all for 21.5 here. my dad just bought 4 honda's at once, and they said they woudl give me the si for 19.5. but didnt want it, im tired of the heatup, and i have a turbo hatch so i just want a chill car. i got the LX 4 door auto, so i can fit my golf clubs and peeps in the back. 24.5 and you save'd on mark up ???

survey says. NOPE. again sorry, just giving you the facts.

Golf clubs? so you bought a four door and didn't get the si for 2 grand more? I think that is bullshit to get a civic si here in Socal for 19.5.... And to all you ppl, Im not here to brag about what I got, i'm trying to help those that want a si for a not so bad of a price that are from Socal, even though 24.3 for a civic is still a lot of money for just a civic!

Compared to what most are going for yes...you got a DECENT deal...

hair under 23k would be a better deal...thats what I got mine for...and that came with the "pro-pack" (trunk mat, mud-flaps, lug-nuts, window etching, and chrome wheels ) this was a navi equipted car in Nighthawk black...

however a good deal would be paying invoice...thats not going to happen soon...

I got mine from Vista Honda in Ventura for 20,740 which came out to be 22,495 out the door. I highly recommend then- they didn't add on anything.

these cars are so rare, anyone who's got one should be nothing more than happy to have their hands on it. there are 2 things that everybody lies about. how many people they slept with, and what they paid for their car.

Quoting this guy for truth and emphasis.

You buy a new car now, you learn in 4-5 years how much it WASNT worth what you paid. 4.5 years ago I got a fully loaded mini sedan with full options for 16.5k out the door. It had 3 miles on it when I test drove it. I was very stupid then. I was barely 18, I had fresh College student credit and a 1500 dollar down payment I shouldn't have spent. Ended up paying 380 dollars a month for the next 5 years for a car that didn't last for ****.

I put three major dings on it, drove it like ****, messed up the interior. I'd be lucky to get 6 grand for it now.

If you're gonna buy a new car, get the one that's convenient to your budget, convenient to drive around in, comfortable and has the nice options. You spent 24 grand on one car? He spent 16 grand on one car, and if he spent another 8 grand on another car, he'd not only have a car more comfortable than yours, he'd also have ANOTHER car in his garage that's FASTER than yours too.

If you can't get a car for what it invoices for, you shouldn't be buying it at all.

And to those saying new cars are hard to steal. Are you dense? 2001 Type R's were hard to steal too. So were 2002 WRX's, 2002 RSX Type S's and even Celica GTS's. Once the thieves figure out how to steal a new car, it'll be targetted in a worse way than EG/EJ/DC owners. Why? Because the parts inside it will be worth more on the street. Trust me... 6 months from now you'll near all the horror stories come to life.

you... freaking... idiot. so car dealerships shouldn't be allowed to make any money?! do you go into best buy and demand store cost on everything you buy? do you haggle for bananas at the super market? jeez. negotiating is one thing, but EXPECTING them to sell you the car for their cost is retarded. especially on an Si! who in the hell would do that? would you sell your personal pimped out hatch for waaay under blue book?! no. why would you, it's worth more. people need to think before they click "post"
