Default Crank pulley and bearing replacement.

Alright guys I had an issue a while back where the Key in the crank pulley key was missing for a while. The pulley was torqued down to spec but the pulley still slipped. It ran like this for about 4000 miles. Now I started to notice a really light sorta knock coming from my block and I suspect the bearings to be the problem (people have also told me that the nose is because I am running eagle rods with wiesco pistons that are now full floating wrist-pin instead of pressed oem). Anyways I want to see if I can get rid of is. My question is can I just get new bearings and replace them or do I have to get the crank polished. I pulled the bottom end apart and the rod bearings were fine and there was no scaring at all on the crank itself. Thanks for all your help!!!
