Default would i run into problems(parts, mechanical) with a JDM DC5?

Curious, i might get my hands on a jdm dc5 and im concerned about mechanics and parts if something goes wrong..

would the us type s parts fit onto the jdm k series?
if my axle broke, would a regular rsx one work knowing that my knuckles and brake system is bigger(having the brembos)

give me your opinions and concerns..... i appreciate it

do you think i'll have my car attempted to be broken into or stolen more since its a JDM?
its between the jdm dc5 if things work out or a s2000...

i'd steal that ****! jk

parts probably won't be that hard to get, just more expensive. and i'd be worried leaving the car unprotected for any long amount of time, but then again i live in jersey (car theft capital).

of course you should worry about theft, type r parts are gold for thieves. your motor, interior, wheels, lip kit, headlights, bumpers, brakes, sway bars, you name it, they want it.

Most of the basic parts are the same but some parts will be different. Brembo brakes and front LCA's are obvious ones. The JDM DC5 has alot more parts and gadgets. ABS pump calibration and everything to make the car what is it is. I'm pretty sure you know of the LSD and different final drive. USDM guys have to buy spacers in order for the JDM ITR wheels to fit so you might have to get different sized wheels.

Your car will be a thieves jackpot if he can jack it. 6-7000 for the JDM motor and LSD+final drive, 1200 for the wheels, 1500 for the Brembos, 2000 for the seats, 500 for the steering wheel, 1600 for the ITR kit, 1500 for the RHD conversion, ... so many things.

besides the fact that is general the cost to ship one oversear is a WASTE of time and money...and the face that it will most likely get stolen, than no you won't have any problems. All are honda parts if you really are in a bind just order it through the stealership.
