Cusco heatshield/radiator shroud for $100, is it worth it? I know the s2000 heat is a major issue under the hood this looks like a nice bling part with some function, is it worth it you think?

i think 99% of these cooling plates are all the same,
if you spend a bit more buy the j'racing that works with the stock airbox,
what intake are you using stock or aftermarket?

don't do it... not j's.
1. I wasn't happy with some of the products I got from them.
2. Waiting time was rediculous.
3. When I got crappy products from them there service to handle the situation was non exsistant. Cause well they did **** about it.

When ATS USA was the North American Distributor for J's, everything went smoothly for me. Parts were shipped via speedpost EMS (within 5 business days, not on large items) and shipping wasn't a rediculous amount. Yasu is the man.

lol.. Was it better quality? Cause the valve cover I had looked like *** and the intake had loose fibers on the inside and the some of the plating on the filter was chipped. It took 2 1/2 months for the valve cover and 4 months for the intake and some other ****. And I got raped on shipping. But j's or the company I delt with did nothing to resolve the issue.
All this and I felt bad for selling the items.

You dealt directly with J's racing or a middle man? I've had 2 of their radiator covers, the tumor'ed intake, regular intake, two sets of final drives, hood, strut tower bar, engine damper, seat rails, and few other stuff I can't remember. Never had any problems with any of their products. I still consider J's as an innovator with racing products.

I delt with there sole distributor of the j's products.. aj-racing. I called them up, they said "well they pretty much do all there valve covers like that" send some pics to us and we'll contact j's racing. So yeah a month later I call back and asked what's going on with that and the other stuff on my order. The guy says the other stuff hasn't came in. And he also tells me that j's never replied to him on that valve cover. But yeah I finally got the intake in and was looking it over and when I looked inside I saw a grip of fibers just chillin and on the filter part the chrome was all chipped up. I asked them again on it and the subject got dropped so I just decided to sell it.
Ok before this expierience I was going to go with the j's kit, and some of there other products. I had the valve cover, intake, j's hood pins.. I still have the oil cap and engine torque damper. And on the etd it looks like there was a mark on it and they just painted over it with the gold. I know there's alot of s2k rocking j's stuff.
I just don't believe in over paying for stuff that's going to be half assed. sorry I ranted a bit.

Your not the first one to have crappy products from J's.. I personally think the quality of most of their products is crap. Their body parts fit like **** and need alot of work to remotely come close to fitting.
