Default readiness monitor codes obd2 smog

i have to pass smog. quick too cuz this stupid cat has to be sideways to fit the secondary o2 and it rubs on the shift linkage.

i have a 2000 Si with CTR cams and pistons and aem cai. other than that it's been fully restored to smog legal from the factory status. i dont have the wideband hooked up so i dont know how it's running on 91 octane but it feels solid. its silent as expletive with the stock exhaust.

i just picked up a obd2 scan tool and it looks like i only have to set the EVAP readiness monitor before i'm ready for testing. i have some literature on a 2003 acura on how to set the readiness codes. this one says to let the car sit for 8 hours. is that necessary in teh 2000 model? i'd like to go out right now and try to set it before bed and get smogged tomorrow morning.

If all but one readiness code is set, the car will pass the OBD2 portion of the test.

****** immigrant wouldnt even smog my car.

says the head doesn't match the block. IT"S A FUKCING PR3 HEAD from a 99 Si you expletive.

OMG i'm a little upset.

i went somewhere else to get a 2nd opinion - they can't fit me in until monday but they looked at my motor and said as long as i can get some kinda of paperwork that says this head is for this motor then they will smog me.

i'm probably gonna end up sending my wife to smog it somewhere else.

praise the lord i passed smog. it was quite an ordeal though.

i got this obd2 scan tool. this tells me that i have set my readiness monitors. well last night i threw a CEL. P0505 some kind of idle control. I search honda-tech and sure enough i forgot a vacuum line on the cruise control. Ok I reset the codes but now I have to reset the readiness monitors again. No big deal, 15 minute drive and 3 of 4 are set, enough to pass smog. I go to a third smog place today and when i get on the dyno, the ******* CEL comes on again! wtf! so i reset the codes and drive for 10 min, and 3 of 4 readiness monitors are good again so I go back.

it passed smog. yay! as soon as i left, the CEL came back on again! LOL expletive it. i'm good for 2 years. now to remove this restrictive *** stock exhaust and put the 2.5" setup on, and convert back to obd1. then put the goodies on the head and hit the dyno.
